Russia been admitted to the WTO after 18 years of negotiations. 


“WTO accession is a significant factor of Russia’s integration into the world economy. It meets both our national interests and the goals of stabilization of the international trade system,” the President Medvedev stressed.

the Elections to the State Duma of Russian Federation

On Sunday, 4th of December 2011, the Elections to the State Duma of Russian Federation have been taken part. Over 60% of Russian citizens came to vote, which is 3% less than 4 years ago in 2007.

4 parties got an access to Duma:
• United Russia: 49,5% / 238 seats
• Just Russia: 19,16% / 92 seats
• The Communist Party: 13,22% / 64 seats
• Liberal Democratic Party of Russia: 11,66% / 56 seats

 Surprisely many Russians came to vote in the Helsinki Russian Embassy, Finland. Every second minute couples or groups of people were entering the place. There were a passport control on the gate to the territory of the Embassy and a tight security at the entrance door.

In accordance to the news in some countries like China there were queues of the Russian people to get in for the voting of the favourite party.
